Brazil: Bolsonaro's phone confiscated, former president's home searched
Supreme Court Minister Alexandre de Morais approved Operation Venire. Lula's predecessor is accused of entering false vaccination data into the Department of Health's system
Federal police this morning executed an arrest warrant against Lt. Col. Mauro Cid, Jair Bolsonaro's former aide, and searched the home of the former president in Brasilia. Supreme Court Minister Alexandre de Morais approved Operation Venire and investigates a criminal conspiracy. Bolsonaro is accused of entering false vaccination data into the Department of Health's system. Sixteen search and six arrest warrants have been issued as part of a neverending investigation into the so-called "digital militia," which began more than two years ago and led by De Morais into an alleged Bolsonaro's "Cabinet of Hate."
