Brazil: Celso Amorim's discreet mission to Putin and Macron for European peace
President Lula's special adviser was in Moscow last week, but the Brazilian government has not officially disclosed the mission
Today the Brazilian media revealed it. Amorim spent two days in Russia. He arrived on Wednesday, March 29. On March 31, the former chancellor then left for Paris. According to Valor newspaper, the trip to Moscow addressed the possibility of Brazil acting as a facilitator in a peace process between Russia and Ukraine. On April 17, Russian Chancellor Sergei Lavrov will visit Brasilia and address the issue directly with Lula.
