Chile: Much Ado About Nothing
After four years lost arguing about the "Pinochet" Constitution, the Chilean politicians have yet to address the public's real concerns, i.e. the deteriorating economy and rising crime rates
The "no" vote, which opposed a new right-wing Constitution, won by a margin of about 11.5 percent. Last year, the "no" vote, which was against a new left-wing Constitution, had won by a much larger margin of 23.7 percent.
