Colima is the most violent in the world in 2022
The Citizen Council for Public Safety and Criminal Justice released their ranking of the 50 most dangerous cities in the world. The Mexican city leads with 181.94 homicides per 100,000 people
"For the sixth year in a row, a Mexican city is the most violent in the world," said José Antonio Ortega, the head of the organization. Colima, Zamora, Ciudad Obregón, Zacatecas, Tijuana, Celaya, Uruapan, Juárez, and Acapulco accounted for nine of the ten most dangerous cities in the world in 2022.
