If Biden does not request extradition, Ovidio Guzmán won't be sent to the United States
The deadline for the United States to formally seek that Mexico hands up Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzmán's son is March 5. The incredible thing is that Washington hasn't done it yet
The government of Joe Biden has now wasted 25 of the 60 days to formally request Ovidio Guzmán's extradition since his provisional arrest on January 5. El Raton must appear in court for the District of Columbia District Court to file charges against him because, like his brother Joaquin Guzman Lopez, he is accused of sending massive quantities of marijuana, cocaine, and methamphetamine to the neighboring nation. Ovidio Guzmán is currently incarcerated in El Altiplano, from whence his father had escaped.
