Maduro makes a law allowing him to seize assets from opposition deputies
Many of them are exiled abroad or have relations with the international community. Now they can be arrested if are considered traitors to the Bolivarian regime by the dictatorship
Venezuela's de facto president yesterday enacted the Law for the Protection of the Assets, Rights, and Interests of the Republic and its Entities Abroad. As of today, therefore, "anyone who participates directly or indirectly in acts, negotiations, offers, agreements, commitments or acts of administration, alienation or disposition of any property, right or interest of the Republic abroad, in agreement, support or mandate of persons or entities that act illegitimately by attributing the representation of the Republic, shall be punished by imprisonment from 15 to 20 years."
