President Biden spoke at the Summit of the Americas yesterday, disturbed by some leaders' boycotts, notably Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who wanted the U.S. to include the dictatorships of Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua in the gathering. The president unveiled a program for economic recovery after the pandemic, aiming to increase regional investment, strengthen supply chains, and create more jobs through clean energy and inclusive trade connections.
