On the sixth day of protests in Cuba, Díaz-Canel urged an end to "counterrevolutionary protests."
Cubans have been protesting in the capital and other places since Hurricane Ian hit the island, banging pots and pans, stopping traffic, and yelling "Freedom!" as they walk. Díaz-Canel referred to the protests as "indecent," calling them "counterrevolutionary" and "funded from overseas. We cannot accept such demonstrations without any legality."
