Venezuelans are outraged by Biden's decision to kick them out of the US
The Biden administration declared on Wednesday night that beginning of yesterday, Venezuelans who entered the US illegally would be deported to Mexico. That amounts to around 155,000 only this year.
Only 24,000 Venezuelans will have a legal route to the United States under the new immigration regulations, which will be overseen by the Department of Homeland Security, while everyone else will be deported. Ironically, less than a month prior, Biden had stated that deporting migrants who were escaping autocratic governments in Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela "is not sensible."
